So Long Roosters!

We did it! I feel like shouting from the rooftops! Our Roosters are gone. They have been the bane of my existence for the last year. They were noisy, messy and mean. They crowed all the time, especially when Logan was napping (right under his window, mind you). They picked on Jenny. Seriously, she was bullied by those birds. I almost forgot to mention they would knock down Logan. I know, I know, they were protecting their flock and doing what Roosters do best, but boy am I glad they're gone. I'm so grateful to Brett for letting them go. He'll deny all the things I just complained about. He loved those birds and thought they were great.
My wonderful midwife, Tonia, and her husband helped us butcher the birds. This is not how they typically die ( it's a lot smoother) but this is our white rooster. RIP big fella.
