I feel even more country now that we've got our very own flock of chickens. We have fourteen crazy little birds. They were a couple of weeks old when we got them, and they stayed inside under the heater. Now they've all grown up and are in their very own hen house! I love crossing the bride over the flooded creek to go see them. Jenny is very good and stays away from them. We still have a couple of months before we get eggs and so far they've been a lot of fun!
